Athletistic/ Figure Skating. On Wednesday January 25, we learned that figure skater Roman Kostomarov, who had come out of a coma the day before, might need surgery.
Channel Five reports that doctors are now deciding on another strategy to treat the Olympic champion. After prolonged pneumonia, Kostomarov was diagnosed with heart activity disorders.
In the near future, doctors will decide whether the skater should undergo surgery or whether conservative (drug) treatment methods can be removed.
Earlier it was reported that the athlete has already come to his senses. Also, Kostomarov, who still cannot fully breathe on his own, began talking with his relatives.
