“The OCA believes in the unifying power of sport and that all athletes, regardless of nationality or passport, should be able to compete in sport. The OCA has proposed that Russian and Belarusian athletes have the opportunity to participate in Asian competitions.
The OCA remains on hold as the IOC continues to explore the possibility of bringing Russian and Belarusian athletes back to competition,” the statement read.
