“If athletes are allowed, then everyone and without any conditions” – the head of the Russian Archery Federation on the statement of the IOC

Russian Archery Federation President Vladimir Yesheev told that he considers the International Olympic Committee’s (IOC) statement on the possible admission of Russian athletes to international competitions to be frivolous.

On Wednesday, the IOC said it would consider admitting neutral Russians and Belarusians to world starts who do not actively support the NWO. Previously, in most sports, against the background of the situation in Ukraine, representatives of the Russian Federation and Belarus were deprived of the opportunity to participate in international tournaments.

– I think participating in a neutral status, no flag, no anthem with support or not in the NWO is not serious. Either you have to make a drastic decision and admit it, or nothing. It seems to me that a weak point has now been found with a proposal without a flag or anthem. Like, remove symbols. The world is ruled by signs and symbols. The decision must still be unconditional. If authorized, then everything and without any conditions. From an adult perspective, it’s just not serious,” Yesheev told .
