Earlier, Bob Arum promised Denis a fight against Shakur Stevenson
Promoter Alexander Krasyuk spoke about the next fights of the European champion EBU and International WBO in lightweight Denis Berinchyk.
“Bob Arum, even before the fight with Mendy, said:“ If this guy wins, then there is Shakur Stevenson for him. We can talk about anything, but it will depend on the circumstances.”
“Now we have plans to make Denis Berinchyk fight on the undercard of the Usyk-Fury fight.”
Earlier, Berinchyk has already said that Arum hinted at his fight with Shakur Stevenson.
In his last fight, the Ukrainian defeated EBU title holder Frenchman Ivan Mendy in a unification bout. After this victory, Denis signed a contract with Frank Warren’s promotional company.
According to Warren himself, he was pleased with the fight between Berinchyk and Mendy and announced the Ukrainian boxer’s possible entry into the fight for the world title as early as 2023.
