The fight for the title of absolute world heavyweight champion will be rescheduled for the end of April.
WBA, WBO and IBF heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk and WBC belt holder Tyson Fury will not meet until the end of January.
The promoter of the Ukrainian boxer Alexander Krasyuk shared the details of the organization of the fight. According to the functionary, the title fight had to be postponed and should take place at the end of April.
“Before the New Year, we planned to announce the fight, which should take place in early March. However, life has made some adjustments, and there are such circumstances that the end of April is a better date for us than the beginning of March.
So now we are intensively working on the date and the contract. I think we should announce the fight in early February,” Krasyuk said in an interview with Luckypunch.net.
Previously, Joyce suggested why Usyk lost weight before the Fury fight.
