Alexandra Trusova is a successful girl. Nothing is impossible for her. She always takes risks and goes all the way. Everyone in the world of figure skating knows that. At the same time, Sasha is not afraid to try new things: difficult throws and lifts at the show – please, flying under the arches of the hockey arena without insurance is easy, long jump during d an athletics tournament – of course! And Sasha is a man of his word. During the Russian championship, she had an agreement with the Ministry of Sports in Krasnoyarsk to organize a master class for local students. Everyone remembers the turn of events: Trusova caught a severe form of flu and was forced to withdraw from the tournament. After intensive treatment, she returned to Moscow to skate her sets in the show.

But the theme of the master class for Krasnoyarsk children was not forgotten. Sasha promised the Minister of Sports of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Denis Petrovsky to return. A few weeks after the New Year holidays, the figure skater found a place in a busy schedule and flew to the Siberian frosts on an overnight flight from Moscow.

More than four hours of flight, a change of time zone, a sleepless night and a nervous landing due to a zone of difficult turbulence on the approach to Krasnoyarsk. After that, ordinary people walked along the TV ladder with stiff legs. Sasha calmly received the luggage and walked with a smile to the reporters waiting for her in the arrivals area.

— It was a little nervous landing. I don’t like it, ”the figure skater said quietly to Petrovsky, continuing to smile.

Even in such a situation, Trusova maintained a positive attitude. But after a sleepless night, she had to hold a master class, give two hundred autographs, take pictures with everyone and return to Moscow in the evening. Thoughts about it didn’t fit in my head. To the question “Is the master class worth such an effort? Sasha answered simply and sternly: “I promised.”

— Yes, it’s hard, because the flight is quite long, but, once again, I promised. I am very interested in doing this master class. I look forward to being in a good mood today. I’m sure there will be happy loaded athletes. I will try to help them with something, give advice, take pictures, ”the figure skater told reporters.

After that, Trusova had a car transfer from the airport to the hotel and a few hours of free time to breathe. Any fan event, including master classes, requires from the athlete not only physical strength, but also moral strength. Children need attention, when communicating with them you need to stay positive and cheerful, somehow giving them your energy.

On the ice of the Kristall arena, Trusova was awaited by several dozen students of Krasnoyarsk Higher Figure Skating Schools and candidates for the national team of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. They were carefully deployed in order to show their best side during the master class. In the stands are children from junior sports schools, gathered in groups under the guidance of different coaches. Almost everyone has skates, notebooks, markers, pens and autograph cards with them. A small group of fans in the upper rows has a banner with the inscription “Russian Rocket” dedicated to Trusova.

How do I feel about this nickname? That’s what the fans thought. I feel good, I like it, – Sasha will later tell reporters with a traditional smile.

From the first minutes of her appearance at the rink, Trusova radiated positive. In the arena, she was not only in the usual role of an artist, but also of a mentor. It was clear that Sasha enjoyed this role. She immediately organized the Krasnoyarsk skaters: she held a brief briefing in the center of the ice, divided them into two groups to avoid the risk of injury and began to demonstrate the exercises.

“Everything was improvisation. When I had my first master class in Ryazan, I thought about the tasks, what I would have to do. But when I arrived, I was in pain. ease. There were also my coaches who started skating. I was very shy. And here I was ready and I knew that I would start from the preparation of the athletes, from what they can do. I was pleasantly surprised, the girl Yaroslava jumps very well “three-three”, the overhang is very, very good. Depending on their abilities. There were standard rolls, jumps and jumps to see what they could do, explained Trusova after the master class.

Sasha’s organic nature as a mentor was amazing. The question of a possible transition to coaching in the future arose by itself. Trusova was waiting for her.

I’m looking at all options. I really like training. I have skated with amateurs who just want to ride with me, and with those who want to achieve something in the sport. Of course, it’s very interesting with guys who want to play sports. I really like that some specific tips help them, – said the skater.

Instead of the scheduled half hour, Trusova spent 40 minutes on the ice with the Krasnoyarsk skaters. And I would like to extend the lesson, but I had to adapt to the rules of the event. Sasha responded with great pleasure to the guys’ request to record some videos, to try and make Trusova’s signature boat. It was a cool action that drew applause from the stands.

– Yes, half an hour was agreed, but I delayed it a little, because I was told that it was possible. The children wanted to make a cantilever. So we shot some videos,” Sasha explained.

After the master class, Trusova gave autographs for over an hour and took photos with everyone. Of course, she didn’t refuse anyone. Sasha was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the organization of the autograph session.

“Events like this are very positive. It was very cool. Lots of people, but the organization is very good, you don’t get tired at all. The children calmly lined up, then came in an organized fashion. Nobody ran, nobody shouted, nobody huddled. Everything is fine. Is it easier than my spontaneous photo shoots at the Russian Cup? It depends on the people. Here, children were allowed to enter without their parents, they were told how to behave. It’s just that sometimes you say it, and they don’t. I really liked the organization of the whole master class in Krasnoyarsk, ”Trusova said.
