January 27 in Krasnoyarsk Alexandra Trousova held a master class, autograph session and photo shoot with young athletes. The training session was organized for the senior level of the national team and candidates for the national team of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. Initially, the event was to take place during the Russian Championship at the end of December 2022, but was canceled due to the skater’s illness.

– Your master class was scheduled for half an hour, but in the end it lasted 40 minutes. Would you like to spend even more time with your children?

– A typical athlete training session lasts an hour to an hour and a half, so I have tasks for a longer session. Yes, half an hour was agreed, but I delayed it a bit, because I was told it was possible. The children wanted to make a cantilever. Here we have filmed some videos.

– You were unable to participate in the Russian Championship in Krasnoyarsk due to illness. How do you feel now?

– Health is good. After that, I already performed in the show, recovered, trained, rolled.

– Do you have back pain?

– All injuries periodically disturb. But so, in principle, it is normal.

Are you planning to leave next season?

– You’ll see him next season.

– Did you specially prepare the master class program or was it an improvisation?

“Everything was improvisation. When I had my first master class in Ryazan, I then thought: what tasks, what should I do? But when I arrived, it was uncomfortable. There was also my coaches who started skating. I was very shy. And there I was ready and, in principle, I knew that I would start from the preparation of the athletes, from what they could do. I was pleasantly surprised, the girl Yaroslava jumps very well “three three”, the overhang is very, very, very good. I started from their abilities. There were standard rolls, jumps and jumps to see what what they could do.

– You organically resembled a mentor on the ice. Have you thought about trying a coaching career in the future?

Why not? I’m looking at all options. I really like training. I have skated with amateurs who just want to ride with me, and with those who want to achieve something in the sport. Of course, it’s very interesting with guys who want to play sports. I really like that some specific tips help them.

– What did you pay attention to in communicating with the children?

I tried to pay attention to everything. Probably everyone wanted advice. I’m sure not everyone is happy with the attention they gave him. Because there were a lot of people. I have already realized that if I train someone, then a maximum of three to five people. I can’t watch anymore. I tried to separate them all so that each one could show its elements.

– Today we didn’t see your jumps.

– The master class does not include my jumps. I tell guys, I suggest what mistakes they make. I was not going to jump, it was known in advance. We always do a cantilever at the end, because everyone wants it. Nobody skips master classes.

– The guys asked questions – how to jump quadruple jumps?

– No, they didn’t. It seems to me that everyone was determined to look for clues, to show themselves.

— You flew to Krasnoyarsk for a long time, then held a master class, and now you are returning to Moscow. Was it difficult? Was it worth it?

– Sure! I hope the children liked it, they will have positive emotions, I also liked it very much.

– They call you “Russian Rocket”. Why? And what do you think ?

Well, that’s what the fans thought. It suits me, I like it.

– You became Russian champion in 2022. What are your feelings about it?

— This is my first adult title.

– I do not know. She didn’t do anything to anyone. Of course, I’m glad there’s some sort of title. But not everything is known yet. It is too early to discuss this.
