“Plushenko’s Angels” won the third stage of the “Battle of Schools”

The third stage of the youth team figure skating competition “Battle of Schools” within the framework of the Moscow Sports Cup ended with the victory of the school “Angels Plushenko” in five out of nine nominations.

Competitions were held between the teams of youth categories I and II, as well as sports categories I and II in men’s and women’s individual skating in a free program. Academy representatives Evgenia Plushenko won the second sports category in girls (Sofia Sarnovskaya – 91.55 points) and boys (Yaroslav Khrulev – 87.56 points). In addition, the representatives of the school dominated the first sports category: in girls, Alisa Polyakova won, she scored 107.08 points, and in boys, Ilya Mavlyanov won the gold medal – 108, 36 dots.

Plushenko’s Angels also became winners in the team standings. Received a separate award Julia Lipnitskaya – Coach Ilya Mavlyanov. The prizes for the winners and winners were presented by the honored guests of the tournament – Nina Moser, Sergey Roslyakov and Svetlana Kandyba. School “Crystal” did not participate in the third stage of the tournament.

Three other stages will take place as part of the Battle of the Schools. The final, which will take place on June 1, 2023 at the Palais des Sports Megasport, will feature five stage winners and two teams with the highest points total from the free program of the first sub-group and four teams with the highest points total. higher of the second. .
