Athletistic/ Figure Skating. On Saturday, January 28, at the European Figure Skating Championships, which are taking place these days in Finnish Espoo, the winner among the women in singles was determined.
The gold of the contest went to Anastasia Gubanova from Georgia.
Coach Elena Buyanova, under whose leadership a native of Togliatti once trained, congratulated her ex-student on winning the 2023 European Championship.
“As a human being, I am very happy for Nastya, I congratulate her on such an achievement. This is good news for the Georgian school of figure skating, which will develop more actively with the help of our Gubanova Regarding my criticism of her, I can say that winners are not judged. Nastya turned out to be in the right place at the right time. I can only congratulate her,” Buyanova said as quoted by Sport24.
