Ukraine has already reacted to the IOC’s statement, in which it made it clear that it would not go to the 2024 Games if Russian athletes were allowed to participate in the Paris tournament.
“On February 3, an extraordinary general meeting of the Ukrainian NOC will be held regarding a possible boycott of the Paris Olympics if Russian and Belarusian athletes are allowed to return to international sports tournaments before the end of the conflict in Ukraine.
This event will have serious consequences,” Verkhovna Rada deputy Zhan Beleniuk wrote on his Telegram channel.
