Ukrainian athlete Irina Gerashchenko won competitions high jump indoors in Nantes, France.
Gerashchenko took a height of 1.93 meters on the second attempt and set a new tournament record. This result was enough for her to win. Irina tried to overcome the bar at a height of 1.97 meters, but all three attempts were unsuccessful.
This victory was the first for Gerashchenko at international tournaments in the 2023 season.
Earlier, Gerashchenko took second place at the tournament in Cottbus, jumping 1.96 m. She was also second at the Alexei Demjanjuk Memorial. Recall that both competitions were won by Yaroslav Maguchy.
