Athletistic/ Figure Skating. The European Figure Skating Championships took place this week. It was held in Finnish Espoo. The victory in women’s individual skating went to Georgian figure skater Anastasia Gubanova, who lives and trains in Russia. Mariam Giorgobiani, President of the Georgian Figure Skating Federation, commented on her victory.
– Nastya made us very happy, justified our hopes and got out of it psychologically. She achieved an important result for Georgia. All the results, all the work is aimed at this, Giorgobiani said as quoted by TASS.
