Krastiņš’s team is one step away from reaching the Final Four
Men’s national volleyball team of Ukraine won for the fourth time in a row Golden Euroleague. Today the team of Ugis Krastiņš defeated Spain.
In the first set, the Spaniards imposed a fight on the blue-yellows, but lost 21:25. In the second set, the Ukrainians won 25:19, and in the third set they didn’t leave their opponents a chance – 25:15.
This is the second victory of Ukraine over Spain. Yesterday Krastiņš’s team beat the Spaniards in four sets (25:23, 31:29, 22:25, 25:22). Earlier, the Ukrainians defeated the Croatian national team twice – 3:1 (25:15, 25:20, 21:25, 25:22) and 3:1 (25:23, 20:25, 25:20, 25:17).
Ukraine is leading in Group B with 12 points. The winner of the group will advance to the Final Four.
The blue-yellows will play their next match on June 3 against Denmark. Due to the war in Ukraine, Krastiņš’s team spends all their matches on the road.
