“If there is an opportunity to go there, then you have to use it in any status. We had a neutral status in the last three Olympics. Athletes have to perform,” Guberniev is quoted by SE.
Recall that at the end of February, the IOC had recommended to international sports federations not to allow Russian and Belarusian athletes to participate in international tournaments.
