Warren: We are discussing where Usyk vs Fury will take place

The promoter assured that the parties are working hard on an agreement

Frank Warren, British promoter of the WBC World Championship Tyson Furysaid that the main subject of discussion at the current stage of negotiations with the owner of the WBA / WBO / IBF / IBO belts Oleksandr Usyk remains the venue for the unification bout of the two champions.

“We are working hard on the fight. It will happen. Everyone wants the fight to happen and it will happen. We’re just working on where the fight will take place, that’s all.”

Fury has previously stated that it doesn’t matter to him where the fight takes place. Tyson agrees to perform where the highest fee is paid.

Promoter Alexander Krasyuk said that the best time for Usyk and Fury to fight would be the end of April. Until the New Year, March 4 was considered the most effective date, but now the parties do not have time to prepare a battle for this time.

Promoter Bob Arum said that Usyk wants an equal distribution of income between the boxers in the unification fight with Fury. Arum also clarified that the organizers are waiting for proposals from representatives from the Middle East who wish to host the fight.
