Lunin will not leave Real Madrid in the winter transfer window

Blancos manager Carlo Ancelotti has said the club will not make any deals this winter.

Madrid goalkeeper Real Madrid Andrey Lunin will not leave the team in the winter transfer window. Blancos head coach Carlo Ancelotti said the club would not be making any deals during this period.

“The winter transfer window is closed for us in all respects. Both in terms of exit and in terms of the arrival of players,” said the coach.

Earlier it was reported that Lunin intends to leave Real Madrid in the summer. The goalkeeper was dissatisfied with the fact that he stopped playing in the Spanish Cup matches, in which Thibaut Courtois was supposed to go instead.

Previously, Lunin turned down an offer to move to Ajax. The Premier League and Bundesliga clubs were also interested in the goalkeeper.

This season, the Ukrainian has played seven matches for the Blancos, in which he conceded 4 goals. In three meetings, Lunin did not miss a single goal.

Carlo Ancelotti’s team has 42 points and is 5 points behind leaders Barcelona. Madrid will play with Blaugran in the semi-final of the Spanish Cup. The Blancos will host Valencia on February 2 in their next match.
