“The IOC strongly rejects these statements and other slanders. They cannot form the basis of any constructive discussion,” Reuters said citing the IOC’s statement.

Earlier it was reported that Ukraine may boycott the Paris Olympics if representatives from Russia and Belarus are allowed to compete.

The 2024 Summer Olympics will be hosted by Paris. The matches will take place from July 26 to August 11.

The previous Olympics were held in Tokyo in 2021. The games were supposed to take place in the summer of 2020, but they were postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
