The Ukrainian team takes the last place in group B
Women’s Volleyball Club Prometheus lost Vero Volley from Italy in the match of the fifth round of the group stage Champions League.
The first two games were left for the Italian team – 25:19 and 25:18. At the end of the third set, Prometheus was losing 19:22, but showed character and won 26:24.
In the fourth set, the Ukrainian team failed to impose a fight on their rivals, losing with a difference of 11 points – 14:25.
This is the fourth defeat of Prometheus in group B. The Ukrainian team is in last place in the quartet and has lost the chances of reaching the playoffs of the Champions League.
In the final round of the group stage, Prometheus will play Romanian Alba Blaj on February 8.
