‘Gypsy King’ Wants WWE World Title
WBC heavyweight title holder Tyson Fury announced that he intends to return to the well-known wrestling promotion in the near future WWE. The Gypsy King wants to fight Drew McIntyre and also win the WWE World Title.
“I hope to return to WWE soon. They will be doing Clash at the Castle 2, so I’m thinking about maybe going back there,” Fury said.
“I intend to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. If Roman Reigns vacates the title or something, maybe Drew McIntyre and I can finally have a fight.”
In September 2022, Fury attended WWE’s Clash at the Castle show in Cardiff. The boxer unexpectedly entered the ring after the fight between the absolute champion of the WWE Universe Roman Reigns and Drew McIntyre.
In October 2019, Fury defeated Bron Strowman by countout at the Crown Jewel show in Saudi Arabia.
Recall that Fury’s representatives are negotiating with the team of the WBO/WBA/IBF/IBO heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk about holding a unification fight. It is noted that the best time for the fight between the British and the Ukrainian will be the end of April.
