Roma lost to Cremonese at home and were eliminated from the Coppa Italia

In the previous stage of the tournament, the outsider of Serie A beat Napoli

Roma unexpectedly lost at home Cremonese (1:2) in the 1/4 final match Italian Cup.

In the middle of the first half, Cyril Dessers converted a penalty and put the guests ahead. After the break, Cremonese extended the lead thanks to an own goal by Zeki Celik. Wolves answered only with Andrea Belotti’s goal in the 90+4th minute.

Recall that in the 1/8 finals of the Italian Cup, Cremonese defeated the leader of Serie A – Napoli (2:2, 5:4 on pen.).

Cremonese will face Fiorentina in the semi-finals of the Coppa Italia. In the second semi-final, Inter and the winner of the confrontation Lazio – Juventus (February 2) will play.

The Coppa Italia final is scheduled for May 24. The current trophy holder is Inter.

Roma is in sixth place in Serie A. Cremonese has not won a single match in the championship and closes the standings.
