In their official statement, they said they will follow the decision of the International Olympic Committee regarding the entry of Russians and Belarusians into the competition.
“As the conflict continues, the Paris 2024 organizing committee wishes to express its full solidarity with Ukraine, its people and the Ukrainian Olympic and Paralympic movement, which is facing an incredible crisis.
As for the presence of Russian and Belarusian athletes at the Paris 2024 Games, the qualification system is determined by the international federations, the IOC and the IPC. We want the Olympic Movement, the Paralympic Movement and the athletes to hold the 2024 Olympics in Paris in a spirit of peace, respecting the values of brotherhood and solidarity.”
It should be noted that the NOC of Ukraine is convening a General Assembly to discuss the boycott of the Olympic Games in case athletes from aggressor countries are admitted.
