Ukrainian took 1.99
Ukrainian athlete Yaroslav Maguchy won high jump tournament Karsten Warholm International in Norway.
The victorious result of Maguchy was the height of 1.99 meters, which she took on the second attempt. This is a tournament record. After her, Yaroslava went to a new indoor season record, but she could not overcome the bar of 2.03 meters.
The second place in the competition was taken by another Ukrainian athlete – 16-year-old Marina Kovtunova, who was enough for this result with 1.70 m.
Recall that Maguchikh became the winner of the World Athletics Indoor Tour Bronze tournament in Cottbus, Germany, jumping 1.98 m on the first attempt.
