Ukrainian bodybuilder Dmitry Pidoprygora died in the war with Russia. He was mortally wounded as a result of a mortar shelling of positions occupied by his unit in Bialogorivka in the Luhansk region.

The 34-year-old Ukrainian military man was a master of sports in bodybuilding. In 2021, he became the winner of the Ukrainian Cup in bodybuilding and fitness. He was also the owner of the Open Cup of the Poltava region.

Earlier, the well-known Ukrainian boxing coach Alexander Vorobyov died in the war with Russia.
