Katarina defeated Moyuka Uchijima in three sets
Ukrainian tennis player Katarina Zawatskaya reached the final of the tournament qualification WTA 500 V Abu Dhabi (UAE).
The Ukrainian beat Moyuka Uchijima from Japan in three sets. The first set was won by a Japanese woman, while Katarina lost in two sets together eight games in a row. However, she turned the tide of the meeting and defeated her opponent in the third set.
Next, Katarina will compete with Leyla Fernandez from Canada for access to the main draw of the tournament in Abu Dhabi. The second seed of the qualifying tournament beat the Frenchwoman Kristina Mladenovic.
Recall that Dayana Yastremskaya also performs at the tournament in Abu Dhabi. The Ukrainian in the first round of qualifying confidently beat Laura Siegemund from Germany.
