Strasbourg with Sable in the minority won Montpellier

The Ukrainian defender came on as a substitute in the second half

Strasbourg won against Montpellier in the home match of the 20th round League 1 — 2:0.

The hosts opened the scoring already in the first minute, Habib Diallo scored. The Senegalese also scored the second goal right before the break.

In the middle of the first half, Strasbourg was in the minority, Jean-Ed Aholu received a direct red card. However, the hosts managed to keep the winning score.

In the middle of the second half, Ukrainian Eduard Sobol entered the field. The defender was not marked by productive actions.

After the victory, Strasbourg scored 18 points. Sable are in 17th place in Ligue 1. Montpellier is in 14th place with 20 points.

Strasbourg’s next match will be away to Lille on 12 February. Montpellier will host Brest on the same day.
