The Brazilian team spent the entire second half in the minority
Al Hilal from Saudi Arabia defeated the Brazilian Flamengo in the semi-finals club world championship – 3:2.
Already in the 4th minute of the meeting, Salim Al-Dawsari converted a penalty and put Al-Hilal ahead. Flamengo bounced back in the 20th minute after an accurate shot by Pedro Guilherme Abreu dos Santos.
In stoppage time for the first half, Al-Dawsari returned the advantage to Al-Hilal. The midfielder was once again accurate from the penalty spot. In the episode with the appointment of a penalty, midfielder Flamengo Gerson received a second yellow card.
In the middle of the second half, Al-Dawsari assisted the former striker of Villarreal and Sevilla, Luciano Vietto, who scored Al-Hilal’s third goal in the match.
On 90+1 minutes, Pedro played back one ball, but Flamengo didn’t have enough for more.
In the final, Al-Hilal will play with the winner of the Al-Ahli – Real Madrid match, which will take place on February 8 (beginning at 21:00 Kyiv time).
