Former world heavyweight champion Mairis Briedis visited Ukraine at the invitation of Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko.
The Latvian boxer stayed in Ukraine for several days, after which he announced the necessary support for the Ukrainian population.
After the meeting, Briedis and Klitschko recorded a joint video in which they summarized the results of their joint work.
“It’s great when you meet old friends. It’s great when they come to you, when they help. I’m very happy that humanitarian aid was brought to us from Latvia. We received buses from Riga. I’m very happy to see my old friend Mairis Briedis, who came and supported Kyiv, Ukraine and our children.
