“A possible boycott of the competition will mainly affect the athletes who are working hard to prepare for their big dream – participation in the main sporting event. Therefore, we are against any discrimination,” said Spyros Kapralos, the head of the Greek NOC. quoted the organization’s website as saying.
Previously, Ukraine was ready to boycott the 2024 Olympics in Paris if representatives from Russia and Belarus were allowed to compete.
