Ukrainian athlete Julia Levchenko won the high jump in the series tournament World Athletics Indoor Tour Silver in Mondeville (France).
The Ukrainian took first place with a score of 1.89 m. She was three centimeters ahead of her closest rival, Estonian Carmen Bruus. This is Levchenko’s first international victory this season.
Recall that Irina Gerashchenko and Yulia Chumachenko took first and second places in the high jump at the World Indoor Tour tournament in the Czech Republic. Earlier, Gerashchenko won the competition in Nantes. She took a height of 1.93 meters and set a new tournament record.
Yaroslava Maguchy triumphed at the World Series tournament in Val de Rey, France. She took a height of 1.95 meters. Earlier, Maguchih became the winner of the World Athletics Indoor Tour Bronze tournament in Cottbus, Germany, jumping 1.98 m on the first attempt.
