National Football League (NFL) expressed support for Ukraine at the end-of-season awards ceremony. During the ceremony, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky delivered a video message.
“On behalf of all those who are fighting for the freedom of Ukraine and the whole world, I want to thank each of you for your help and support. Today I am writing to you as thousands of our brave men and women fight on the battlefield in Ukraine.”
“Among them on the front line are players from the Ukrainian League of American Football who share the love for your game. Our team, including these men, is fighting for freedom with our partners. Together we bring hope to the whole world.”
The ceremony was also attended by players of the Ukrainian League of American Football serving in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
On the night of February 13, the final game of the NFL season, the Super Bowl, will take place in Glendale, Arizona. The Kansas Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles will play in the title match.
