The very first tournament for the Evgenia Medvedeva awards started in Moscow at the Molodezhka ice sports complex. More than two hundred young single skaters between the ages of 6 and 17 take part in the competition.
“How do I feel at the tournament in my honor? Watching these guys, I feel like an adult, I feel like I’ve grown up for figure skating. These kids – some are 6, we’re 15 years of difference. I participated in adult competitions at 15, so it is already three generations ahead. I am sure that here we will see stars who will shine in adult tournaments in the future “, Medvedeva told TASS.
