Forward recovering from knee injury
Attack Chelsea Raheem Sterling will return to the field in the first match of the playoffs Champions League With Borussia Dwhich will take place on February 15th.
The player suffered damage to the Achilles tendon in the home match of the 19th round of the Premier League with Manchester City (1:0). Raheem came on as a substitute in the 0-0 win over Fulham after recovering but suffered another knee injury in training. The scan showed that the damage was minor – Raheem will most likely miss the Premier League game with West Ham, but will be able to recover in time for the Champions League playoffs.
Sterling moved to Chelsea from Manchester City last summer. This season, Raheem has six goals and three assists in 23 matches for the Londoners in all competitions.
Chelsea are ninth in the Premier League with 30 points. The meeting with West Ham starts at 14:30 Kyiv time.
