Ukraine beat Scotland in World Cup qualification

On June 5 Petrakov’s team will play against Wales

national team Ukraine beat Scotland in the semi-final match of the playoffs of the World Cup qualification.

The score at the 33rd minute of the meeting was opened by Andriy Yarmolenko, who was assisted by Ruslan Malinovsky.

After the break, the advantage of the Ukrainians was doubled by Roman Yaremchuk, to which the Scots answered with a goal from Callum McGregor in the 79th minute.

The final score was set by Artem Dovbik, scoring in the fifth stoppage minute of the match.

In the play-off final of the qualification, Alexander Petrakov’s team will play against Wales on Sunday, June 5.

For the Ukrainian national team, today’s match was the first official since last November, when the country’s main team beat Bosnia and Herzegovina (2:0).
