Fury: Usyk fight talks are ongoing. So far, only talk, but no solution

Tyson decided not to interfere in the negotiations

WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury does not know when his fight will take place for the title of absolute world champion with the owner of WBA/WBO/IBF/IBO belts Oleksandr Usyk.

“Negotiations about the fight with Usyk are still ongoing. So far, there are only talks, but there is no solution.”

“Actually, I haven’t been on social media since October last year. I deleted the apps and won’t be coming back. I like the battery life too much.”

“I think that all the information you need to know about Usyk or any other boxing fights, you should get from the promoters. I vowed not to interfere again because, firstly, it causes me stress, and secondly, it makes me anxious and depressed.”

“Now I don’t know anything about it. Let’s see. But to date, I have not received an offer from anyone to fight. I haven’t lost in 14 years. I can beat anyone, there is no doubt about that. They definitely can’t beat me in the boxing ring.”

Earlier Usyk’s promoter Oleksandr Krasyuk said that the best time for the fight between the Ukrainian and Fury would be the end of April. Later, the date was named – April 29.

Promoter Bob Arum said that Usyk wants an equal distribution of income between the boxers in the fight with Fury. Arum also clarified that the organizers are waiting for proposals from representatives from the Middle East who wish to accept the fight.
