In Saudi Arabia, they do not have time to complete the stadium by this date
The battle WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury for the title of absolute world champion with the owner of WBA/WBO/IBF/IBO belts Oleksandr Usyk may take place April 29 in London at Wembley Stadium.
According to the Daily Mail, Fury’s promoters are urging the Ukrainian to fight in London, as the stadium in Jeddah (Saudi Arabia) is not built in time for the date of the fight.
Queensberry Promotions have already booked Wembley for April 29th. If Usyk does not agree, Fury is ready to fight that day with another opponent. The final decision is expected this week.
Earlier Usyk’s promoter Oleksandr Krasyuk said that the best time for the fight between the Ukrainian and Fury would be the end of April. Later, the date was named – April 29. It has also been argued that the fight is more likely to take place in England.
Promoter Bob Arum said that Usyk wants an equal distribution of income between the boxers in the fight with Fury.
