The possible admission of Russians and Belarusians to the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris (France) in a neutral status is currently under discussion.

“I think it’s fair for someone to consider excluding athletes from certain countries if external circumstances warrant it. I feel sorry for individual athletes, but there is an incredibly large scene in sport that can be used for special purposes. Therefore, I think it is fair to limit this step to authoritarian regimes,” Miambo said during a speech at ISTAF in Berlin.
