The Ukrainian again played with Elena Ostapenko from Latvia
Lyudmila Kichenok reached the quarterfinals of the doubles tournament WTA 500 V Doha (Qatar).
The Ukrainian, together with Elena Ostapenko from Latvia, defeated the duet Sofia Kenin / Karolina Muchova (USA / Czech Republic) in two sets. In the first set, Lyudmila and Elena took two submissions from their rivals, without giving up any of their own. The second game stretched to a tie-break, where Kichenok and Ostapenko also won.
Ukrainian and Latvian seeded in the tournament under the second number. In the quarterfinals, their rivals will be the winners of the match between Zhan Haoqing/Latisha Zhan (Taiwan) and Nicole Melikar-Martinez/Ellen Perez (USA/Australia).
Last week, Lyudmila Kichenok lost in the first round of the tournament in Abu Dhabi. The Ukrainian for the first time performed in tandem with Anna Danilina from Kazakhstan.
