In the event that Tyson’s side does not agree with Oleksandr Usyk
WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury could fight his next fight against former WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder.
Tyson’s side has reportedly already held talks with Wilder. The fight will take place at Wembley, but the fight will be agreed only if Fury’s meeting with Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk fails.
Fury and Usyk plan to hold a face-to-face fight for the title of absolute world champion on April 29 in London at Wembley Stadium. Fury’s promoters are urging the Ukrainian to fight in London, as the stadium in Jeddah (Saudi Arabia) does not have time to build by the date of the fight.
Wilder will fight his next fight in the spring of 2023 against another former world champion – Andy Ruiz. The winner of this fight will be Fury’s next mandatory challenger for the WBC heavyweight title.
