“I fell in love with figure skating straight away, I didn’t want to quit training” – Mishina

Olympic figure skating champions in team competition Anastasia Michina And Alexander Gallyamov talked about the first steps in the sport.

– On a day like this, can you say what love is to you?

Galiamov: Figure skating, our work and our family, our friends. The family that gave us figure skating raised us and supports us in all our endeavours.

Do you remember how your love for figure skating started?

Galiamov: Even in childhood. Yet when parents bring their kids into the sport, sometimes it’s clear they don’t like it. Let’s say I first studied dance at Variety Theater, but I didn’t really have a soul for it. And for figure skating, I woke up love.

Mishina: I fell in love with figure skating straight away, I never wanted to leave training. When practice was over, I wanted to stay on the ice and skate as long as possible.

Mishina and Gallyamov took part in the Lovers of Figure Skating festival, which took place in Moscow on Tuesday and was broadcast on the channel.
