Olympic champion Alina Zagitova has posted a moving message dedicated to her performances during the ice show “In Love with Figure Skating”.
Many criticized Zagitova, noting that the skater went into her own business. Commentator Dmitry Guberniev joked that Alina did not enter the soundtrack. Zagitova decided to respond to the enemies.
“Yesterday will forever be etched in my memory.
I wish you not to listen to those who say that your hobbies are worthless. Love yourself, follow your dream and don’t be afraid of anything, then you will definitely succeed,” Zagitova wrote on social media.
Zagitova suspended her career in December 2019.
