The new educational program is based on the Python course, the most popular programming language
War can break curricula, but never the pursuit of knowledge. Favbet Foundation launches free initial IT education program. Children affected by the war and limited in access to quality education will be able to learn the basics of programming.
The charitable foundation took the initiative to implement the project at its own expense. Children from all over Ukraine will have the opportunity to get an IT education for free. First of all, the course is designed for children of military personnel, internally displaced persons and adolescents from the regions most affected by the war.
The new educational program is based on the Python course, the most popular programming language, which creates an excellent foundation for further development in IT. Code Club Ukraine was chosen as a partner who will be responsible for the content of the course, the recruitment of students and mentors, as well as the organization of the educational process.
“Favbet Foundation, since its foundation, has been working to ensure that every Ukrainian child has free access to high-quality technological education, regardless of their life circumstances. This course comes at a time when the war has disrupted and greatly complicated the educational processes for children who need it. Therefore, becoming an initiator, launching and implementing a training program at the expense of the Favbet Foundation is another step towards creating a progressive environment for development,” says Evgeniy Bondar, project curator of the Favbet Foundation.
Code Club Ukraine notes that the Python course is designed for children aged 12-15, who need only basic computer skills. “In Ukraine, the Code Club, as part of the International Volunteer Initiative originally from the UK, has been operating since 2013. More than 30,000 children have already completed free education in our clubs. We use modern educational programs developed by IT industry practitioners and cooperate with mentors who share their own expertise with children, ignite their desire to further delve into the world of technology and innovation,” says Anna Derevyanko, COO of the Code Club Ukraine initiative. .
Recall Favbet Foundation is a charitable foundation founded by FAVBET in 2020 to systematize and expand its charitable activities. The goal of the fund was to create a favorable environment for a sporting and happy future for the country, the mission is to invest in education, sports and technology to ensure the development of a new generation and the preservation of talents in Ukraine.
