Robertson: We couldn’t show our game against Ukraine

Scotland lost to Ukraine at home

Scotland defender Andrew Robertson commented on the defeat from Ukraine (1:3) in the playoff semi-finals of the 2022 World Cup qualification.

The Scots lost to Oleksandr Petrakov’s team at home, conceding from Andriy Yarmolenko, Roman Yaremchuk and Artem Dovbik.

“Big disappointment. We have been waiting for this match for a long time, but could not show our game. The Ukrainians settled in faster than us and played better. We knew they would get tired and tried to get back in the game, but it was an incredibly tough fight. The saddest thing is that we couldn’t play the way we wanted. We let ourselves down, ”said Robertson.
