Ukrainians did not get into the top 20
Swedish biathlete Sebastian Samuelsson won mass start at the 2023 World Championships in German Oberhof.
Norway’s Johannes Boe took the lead after the third shooting range, but on the fourth shooting he received a penalty loop. As a result, the Swedes Martin Ponsiluoma and Sebastian Samuelsson played the gold among themselves. Samuelsson was the first at the finish line, Ponsiluoma was second, Be was third.
Johannes Be won seven medals at this World Cup, five of them gold.
Ukrainian Dmitry Pidruchny finished 23rd, Anton Dudchenko – 25th.
The final race of the 2023 World Cup in Oberhof will be the women’s mass start. Start – at 16:00. Due to a cold, Ukrainian Yuliya Jima withdrew from the mass start and the last race of the championship will take place without our bitalonists.
