Ukrainian beat Ipek Oz from Turkey in three sets
Ukrainian tennis player Marta Kostyuk advanced to the second round of the tournament WTA 1000 in Dubai (UAE).
Martha defeated Ipek Oz from Turkey in three sets. The duel lasted two hours.
Kostyuk made a break in the first set, but then lost two of her serves, losing in the set. The second set was for the Ukrainian. In the third installment, Marta took the opponent’s serve three times, scoring a victory in the match.
Recall that Marta received a wild card from the organizers of the tournament in Dubai. In the second round, Kostyuk will face eighth seed Belinda Bencic of Switzerland.
Also, Dayana Yastremskaya made it to the next round earlier. Two more Ukrainians, Angelina Kalinina and Katarina Zavatskaya, will play their matches on Monday.
