Russian Fencing Federation (FFR) President Ilgar Mammadov spoke about the suspension Stanislav Pozdnyakov of the position of President of the European Fencing Confederation (EFC).
On Tuesday, the head of the Russian Olympic Committee (ROC) Pozdnyakov said the EFC Congress had voted to terminate his powers within the organization early.
– I was not at the congress, which suddenly took place online, because I flew to Switzerland. Although in 15 days there will be a regular congress in Antalya. Why such haste is necessary, I do not understand. Why was it removed? Will it get better? Absolutely not. Will they get rich? Absolutely not. For me, the European Confederation is an empty place.
