Tottenham player injured hamstring
English striker Rodel Richardswhich was on view in Chernomoretswas injured in a test match and won’t be able to play until the end of the season.
In the sparring between the Mariners and their youth team (6:0), Richards came out in the second half, scored one goal, got injured in the 70th minute and left the field. The striker suffered a recurrence of damage to the back of the thigh and was out for the rest of the season.
In the fall, Richards signed a three-year contract with Vorskla. Rodel played only one match in the UPL for Poltava and was not included in the plans of head coach Viktor Skrypnyk. The 22-year-old striker is a Tottenham graduate who has played for the Spurs youth teams.
Chernomorets is 15th in the UPL. In the first match of the spring part of the season, Grigorchuk’s team will play with Veres on March 4.
