The Ukrainian beach soccer team will sparring with Oman and Saudi Arabia

Blue-yellows continue to prepare for the new season

Ukrainian beach soccer team will hold a small training camp in Oman, within which three friendly matches are scheduled.

Blue-yellows will play twice with Oman February 28th and March 1st. Also, the Ukrainian team will meet with Saudi Arabia on March 2.

“Two matches with the national team of Oman were planned immediately, and just today, negotiations with Saudi Arabia on holding another match were successfully completed. We consider these meetings as a stage of preparation for the upcoming busy season. We have been training in Kyiv for a month now and we want to prepare as best as possible, because this year international tournaments start very early. Our coaching staff aims to return the feeling of sand to our guys as soon as possible,” said Mykola Kostenko, head coach of the Ukrainian national team.

“As for the immediate task for these friendly matches, we, as always, are set for the highest results. Therefore, we will prepare, because in addition to the fights we will hold a small training camp there. We are planning morning training sessions before the games, theoretical classes, analysis of matches.”

The Ukrainian national team takes 13th place in the BSWW world ranking. Oman is located on the 19th position, Saudi Arabia – 31st.
