I cannot yet comment fully on what measures will be taken, but I am sure that Evgeny Viktorovich is ready to do a lot so that such a situation does not happen again, I am sure.

Evgeny Viktorovich is ready to meet with the sports authorities of our country in order to make some sort of neutral assessment of what is happening. If necessary, analyze each opponent’s skating and score it by a team of independent judges.

This work is ongoing. Already in the team, write questions that I would like to get answers to. In any case, it will benefit figure skating. Also, we have good competition, we have good athletes. And it’s not just Plushenko’s group. The country loves figure skating, we have chic traditions. And the fewer such scandals, the more objective the assessment will be … This is for them, for the sake of the children! I spend time with these kids, I know how hard they try, what they have to overcome. And getting biased grades, just because they study at Plushenko Academy, is incomprehensible to me.

It is necessary to remove all unnecessary components so that there is an objective assessment of each individual athlete. Not everyone agrees with this. Of course, I am an affiliated person on this file, but as someone who works with these athletes, I also have questions. If these questions are answered, figure skating will only benefit.

What is the mood of the girls now? We saw them on Saturday, we trained. The work went well, we discussed the departure. I congratulated them because it is still a good performance. It is clear that they are still teenagers, maximalists at heart, and there is certainly an adult influence that affects them. I wouldn’t want to drag them into this routine. I would like them to think as much as possible about training and self-improvement. This is not the most important beginning of their life. However, in order to avoid such situations in the future, it is necessary to solve it on the shore, let’s say, – said Skobrev.

Zhilina took second place in the Russian Championship among juniors, Titova became 4th. The winner was Alina Gorbacheva from Tver, coached by Sofia Fedchenko.
