Athletistic/ Figure Skating. Olympic champion Roman Kostomarov suffered a second stroke, informs RIA Novosti.
“He has hemorrhaged for the second time, his condition is serious,” the source said.
On January 10, Kostomarov, 46, was hospitalized with severe pneumonia. In February, due to complications, his feet were amputated, and later his fingers were amputated. The athlete got worse: Roman couldn’t breathe on his own and doctors had to reconnect him to the ventilator.
Due to the large amount of fibrosis, doctors fear for the athlete’s left lung.
