“We express our sincere condolences to Katya’s family and friends,” the VFV news service wrote.
The 18-year-old athlete was in a car with Ivan Osipov, winner of the 20-year-old European Youth Championship in beach volleyball. Young people had an accident last week, Osipov fell into a coma. On February 20, the death of the athlete became known.
